Description
These Large sand dunes where actually part of the campground we stayed at on St. George Island State Park in North Florida. They were everywhere, it was pretty cool.
St. George Island is 9 miles of undeveloped beaches and dunes, surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Apalachicola Bay. This is the perfect setting for St. George Island Park. St. George occupies 1962 acres at the end of a long, narrow barrier island, and is a combination of sandy coves, salt marshes, shady pines, and oak forests. The park supports an abundance of marine and bird life.

Joan they were huge! Never seen anything like that. Especially not within trees like that.
